I came across Eddie and Julie by doing a Google search for a realtor. We were planning to move to the beach area and knew we would need a local person. Eddie communicated via phone and email before we came to look so he knew exactly what we needed. He showed us 5 houses before we found THE one! The community suits us and the house is perfect for us. We came to Myrtle Beach for the first time and wanted to look at homes while we were out there. Eddie and Julie are outstanding realtors! They assisted me in the sale of my condo. It was built in the 1980’s. It was very spacious but had not been renovated or updated since it was built. I live in Virginia and did not want to oversee the work that needed to be done. 2 1/2 Is our rating for Eddie Boyd and The Boyd Team of Realtors. First the communication was good, since we were not getting any from Kevin@ Beverly Homes. He also sent us pictures of our house. But, the 'Walk thru" of our brand new home wasn't so accurate. We asked Eddie if he could do that since we saw our house online(we couldn't make it down to South Carolina when the company held the walk-thru)As our realtor we trusted him to do a thorough and professional job.Some problems were listed like the master bathroom counter top had a large scratch and he noted that, but not the small bathroom counter which was also horribly scratched. But, the first thing as we saw walking into our brand new home was a HUGE, noticeable dent in the threshold of the front door. Seriously, how could Eddie miss that?? The building supervisor and Kevin seemed shocked when they walked in our house , BUT told us that probably wouldn't be fixed. Another interesting thing was that Kevin told us when we first viewed the homes that Beverly was offering a 2% bonus when you bought a home. When we told Eddie this he mentioned it to Kevin and nothing was done. So, for the 10% of the cost of our new home,(what Eddie made) that was a real easy job! Find a realtor that will be working for you and who isn't a friend of Kevin's, one that you can fully trust!!

This is a great family to work with for all of your real estate needs. Eddie was prompt, professional, and had a solution for every problem. We had some issues with the bank on the day of closing, but Eddie already had paperwork drawn up for us to inhabit the residence early, just in case the closing didn’t happen on the day it was planned. Luckily, everything worked out. He also helped us get a great contract price that was within our budget.
